<text>Camp Island Ford was located on the Greenbrier River in Seebert, W.Va. near Watoga State Park. It was owned by George Solter’s brother, Dr. Harry Solter who practiced medicine in Pocahontas County for many years. Many of the photos in this collection were taken by George Solter's family who summered at the camp in the 1930's. There was a house, cabins, horse stable and a tennis court.

The photographs are part of the Pocahontas County Historical Society Collection.
