Frost Post Office 1917

E. G. Sharp is pictured in this 1917 photograph of the Frost Post Office. The Frost Post Office was established in 1853. It's physical location changed numerous times depending on who the postmaster was. As was customary, if the postmaster operated a store the post office was in the store. Postmasters included Francis Dever, Aaron Sharp, Dr. G. M. Jordan and Mamie Dreppard Mitcham who served until it was discontinued in September 1967.
